Custom Sublimated Cheer Uniforms

Sublimation is the standard technique behind most competition-quality cheer uniforms, dyeing your design directly into the fabric rather than printing on top of it.

How Sublimation Works

The design is printed onto transfer paper, then heat and pressure turn the ink to gas and bond it directly into the fibers of the fabric. Because the color becomes part of the fabric rather than sitting on top of it, sublimated designs don’t crack, peel or fade the way a heat-transfer print or vinyl can, even after repeated wear and washing.

What Sublimation Can Do

  • Full-color, photo-quality graphics and gradients across the whole uniform
  • Sharp logos and text without a raised edge or texture
  • Seamless color blocking that would be difficult to achieve with cut-and-sew panels alone

Sublimation works on polyester and poly-blend fabrics, which is why competition uniform fabric is chosen with sublimation in mind from the start.

Sublimation Plus Other Finishes

Most competition uniforms combine full sublimation with rhinestones, metallic foil or mystique fabric for added sparkle, since sublimation alone doesn’t add texture or shine. Send us your design and we’ll suggest where each finish works best on the uniform.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does sublimation fade over time?

Sublimated color is dyed into the fabric rather than sitting on the surface, so it holds up significantly better than a printed transfer over repeated wear and washing.

Can sublimation include our team logo?

Yes, send your logo file or describe it and we’ll build it into the design mockup.

Is sublimation more expensive than a plain fabric uniform?

Sublimation is our standard technique across competition uniforms, so it’s included in the base build rather than priced as an upgrade. Additional finishes like rhinestones affect price separately.
