Cheer Uniform Production: Decoration, Quality Control, and Shipping
This is Part 2 of our look inside how custom cheer uniforms are made. Part 1 covered design, fabric, and sewing. Here is what happens next: decoration, quality control, and getting a finished uniform to your door.
Step 4: Sublimation, Rhinestones, and Embellishment
This is where a design actually comes to life. We use dye sublimation to print your team’s colors and graphics directly into the fabric, so they never crack or peel. Rhinestones are placed by hand using templates matched to your design, with placement checked against the tech pack. Depending on the piece, we also use screen printing, embroidery, appliqué, chenille embroidery, DTF or DTG printing, fabric dye, and fabric embossing, whichever technique fits the design and the fabric.
Step 5: Quality Control
Before anything ships, every garment is checked against the approved tech pack: stitching, sizing, color match, and embellishment placement. Anything that fails inspection is corrected or remade before it reaches packing. This is also why we always send a physical sample before bulk production starts, it lets you confirm fit and finish on a real garment, not just a digital mockup.
Step 6: Packing and Shipping
Finished uniforms are packed and shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) as standard, meaning duties and taxes are already covered, so there is no surprise customs bill when your order arrives. Faster shipping options are available if your team is working against a competition deadline.
